That Time of the Year
Yep, it's getting to be that time of the year. The snow is beginning to fall, and most of my garden plants have disintegrated into dust. But the Brussels sprouts are still hanging in there!
Simply put, I like my sprouts simply prepared. All I've done here is toss them in a bit of olive oil, and brown them in a (very) hot cast-iron skillet. Another favorite method: I'll toss them with some prepared Italian salad dressing, and stick them under the broiler.
